Lindsay Outdoor Study

I took about 85 pictures of my daughter and 65 of my niece Kimberly. My plan is to do a new series of paintings - classic romantic poses out of doors. I'm going to take more photos of my friend Jennifer this week. This is new for me and will be a good learning experience I think. I'd love to paint the figures directly out of doors, if they had the time. Anyway, I am continuing to read and re-read Hawthorne on painting and he has plenty to say about painting the figure outside.
I'll share some tips, and continue with the small studies until I am more comfortable with larger pieces. That is if all goes as planned.
