A Study in Complementary Colors

Hi all, just wanted to post this study from last week's class. I did a demo for the beginning oil painting class at the School of Light and Color in Fair Oaks, California.

Oh! It was such a beautiful day today and yesterday was quite nice. Finally some good weather here. Yesterday I finally took our two little doggies on a walk. It just about killed me to stay in the studio but I had to work on some paintings for a gallery drop off tomorrow.

Have a great weekend!

This is such a striking piece! It leaped out at me in the little thumbnails.

Enjoy your nice weather for those of us stuck in deep winter. Although I have to say, sun on snow is very bright and uplifting.

The blue bottle is so well done. Great lights and darks.

Thanks Randy for posting this beautiful piece of art. It was great to show it to my husband so he could see what I get to enjoy on my learning path. Love the class!
